U.S car makers deserve to go under for their lack of innovation, and shitty quality products. I hope we keep buying Japanese and German cars till they get it through their heads.

  • usa1america:

    Fuck Jap and Korean car!

    CRAP!!

    White Power!!

  • nycsharp:

Good job Toyota, with a 100+ BILLION market cap your product does reflect your finances. People can say what they want but it’s the american consumer that’s buying Toyota products. For those who would like to help save big three, why not buy their stock- GM, F, may be you can do something to help save them.

  • schenkel123:

4:10 They just work harder to compensate their small cocks.

  • f1nuts:

No. Americans caused the crisis with the sub-prime lending catastrophy!
Toyota is a multinational company just like G.M. is. I buy superior products from Toyota that are built here in North America.
Did you know Toyota has 11 models now built here? No, of course you didn’t. Did you know that many G.M. products are now built in Korea and China? Did you know that G.M. and Toyota have a joint venture plant in California? Do you know anything?

  • 4plastics411com:

Very simple answer for the “isolationists” among us..A golobal market is upon us. The U.S. is merely experiencing economic growing pains. Be prepared…the pains end and we grow!

  • expertvaricoseveins:

f1nuts… All of you dumbasses who buy foreign cars have caused this economic crisis. So shut up with your stupid “#1 car producer” ****. Just shove it up your ***!

  • f1nuts:

Toyota is now the #1 car producer in profit and numbers. Perhaps if G.M. could bring itself to stop building push-rod engines and body-on-frame cars, they’d entice some buyers back. Untill then… they are doomed.

  • gimmetheacoountplix:

god damn youtube must be the only place in the world where a Lean movie (or TPS) ends up with a discussion about *****…ON TOPIC PLEAAAAAAAAASE…reduce waste…

  • bakaagain:

The Toyota is a fascist company which suppress freedom of speech.

  • Watcher3223:

First, I’m not asking you to report anything to me but asking you to make your argument more convincing to EVERYONE who may read your response. Again, you’re the one who made the claim.

FYI, I tried to find the information myself and I can’t find it. All I can locate is that Consumer Reports is a division of the Consumers Union, which is a non-profit organization based in Yonkers, N.Y.

I’m asking you to find that info since you seem to know it all.

So, prove it or your claim is bullshit.

  • stylin440:

I don’t have to report anything to you. **** off. Find it yourself.

  • stylin440:

you and your father are sellouts and should be shot as traitors and criminals. Who is number 1? GM. **** off driving your plastic shitbox sellout car

  • Watcher3223:

Okay, you’ve just made a claim about Consumer Reports being held by a Japanese company.

    Prove it.

You made the claim, now the burden is on you to validate it. Otherwise, your claim is hearsay and will be treated as such.

While I don’t consider Consumer Reports an authority on many things by a long shot, it’s only fair that a request for evidence is made and expected to be honored to justify your accusations that try to suggest a serious conflict of interest as a way to explain their opinions.

  • Watcher3223:

You reduce costs by always finding ways to improve efficiency and quality while always finding ways to reduce the waste of material, time, and energy.

    That’s roughly the Toyota way.

Please correct me if I’m wrong.

  • Watcher3223:

My thought was that those foreign companies were investing in employing a workforce in the USA, earning those incentives while the big 3 was intent in outsourcing their work out of the USA, taking jobs AWAY from Americans.

The culture of leadership at the big 3 AND the UAW is not responsive and is rubbish.

And, because of their pride and stuck-up attitudes, they’ll never change because either they’ll get bailed out and never learn to change or they’ll change when it’s too little, too late.

  • Watcher3223:

Not only the auto companies, but also the representation of the workers.

Both are stuck in the land that time forgot, as if it were the 1960s.

I recall a news conference by a UAW representative who tried to make a point about how Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and Honda were getting multi-million dollar incentives while the big three were struggling to get a $25 billion bailout and how that was wrong.

  • michaelkirk23:

Stylin440…stop making Americans look like flag wearing dumbasses. You are obviously not educated on the automotive industry and if you did your homework you would know that GM and Ford are way behind. My father owned a Toyota dealership and I work as a service manager at another dealership. US cars are fucking junk. Look at the NUMBERS you redneck!!

  • mageever:

This is a great point. The Toyota Production System has it’s org’ chart flipped upside down so that the production worker is on top and then everybody else is below supporting them. They’re the ones adding value to the car and in the end have the most impact on what a customer wants. Management should be there to support them. American auto companies need some SERIOUS culture change. It’s gonna hurt.

  • inagod:

as a Chrysler A mechanic,Factory reps wouldn’t listen, people at the top were not to be found. We saw the problems, better than anyone.Technical fixes, seldom addressed the problem, some front drive mini vans have the same problems,10 to 15 years after the TSB was issued.I tried,as a nobody repairing them, making my own fixes, not getting paid[I was flat rate]I don’t feel sorry for American car manufactures.

  • cinndave:

When ever Detroit wants to cut expenses they say “how can we squeeze our suppliers more?” and haggle them down to razor thin profits. They **** each other.

Toyota sends experts and consultants to supplier companies to make them perform better. They really take care of them.

  • stylin440:

Google?!? Google the reliability for the 2007 4wd tundra! Its the worst of any pickup. The V6 camry is the worst reliability of any midsize car. Besides the 2wd tacoma, no other toyota is better than average. check out jd power and consumer reports. and consumer reports is a japanese held company and extremely biased! 500% is true man. Sorry. Deal with it. toyota ***** and all the corps have their heads so far up their *** they cant think outside of the box for any new ideas
