th old hiluxes are un breakable, new ones however are rubish weak as, my brother rolled his hilux and hit a powerpole and he didnt get a scatch on him and when we pick the ute up we actually drove it on the trailor lol hilux ftw!

  • waltertan60:

    Toyota is the best .

  • kirsh:

    I want an old Hilux

  • DartzIRL:

    Mine dumped it’s coolant once.

I drove fifty miles in the rain without noticing anything other than the engine temp light coming on, then going off a minute later.

Found a burst hose the next day.

Engine had run air cooled for about 50 miles.
Repaired and refilled. Started 3rd time. As usual

not all japenese cars are reliable. however i own an 02 hilux and its definetly a very very tough vehicle. im keepin it till i die. funny thing is it’ll prob outlive me and im 25!!

  • eikka3:

In deed, I think japanese and german cars have highest quality, kinese and usa lowest now.

  • klas2k:

Exactly – japanese cars are known for their quality so it shouldnt have to be pointed out. interesting experiment though.

    I had a Hilux 1989 with 270000 km’s on the gauge – worked like a beaty !

  • travblind:

I just bought a 99′ Hilux. Im sooo happy. Australian outback here I come. I know people with hilux’s that have done 500 000 kms and still kick ***!

  • CarboneDrac:

a japan car with quality… it have to be a joke

  • josesoj:

That is true haha hummers ain’t got **** on toyotas. Here in costa rica/central america you never see hummers/chevy/ford/s . The only people that drive hummers or fords/chevys here are people that want to “prove” they have money. I bought a used diesel land cruiser not too long ago, and will be buying a hilux diesel soon as well.
If toyota sends their hilux diesel trucks to america that would be the end of chevy/ford trucks period.

My Friend Bryan could wreck it! He can wreck any thing! Even if he doesn’t try, He will still wreck it! ….. Try that with a new one though, bet you it would not hold up as well!
